BEFORE MONEY MOVES

Payment follows acceptance, not parcel handover.

Your chosen method stays attached to the order while the device moves through receipt and inspection.

  1. Your device arrives

We match the parcel to your order and confirm that it is safely in our hands.

  2. We inspect it

The model, specification, condition, functions and security status are checked.

  3. The quote is confirmed

A matching device is accepted. If anything differs, we explain it before you decide.

  4. Payment is released

We send the accepted amount using the method and details chosen at checkout.

COMPARE YOUR OPTIONS

Choose the destination that suits you.

Open each method to compare who it suits, what to have ready and what happens after we send the money.

Best for
Most customers who want payment sent directly to a UK bank account.
Typical timing
Credited on the entry day of the three-working-day Bacs cycle.
After it is sent
The account number and sort code determine where the payment is routed.

Have this ready:

  • Account name
  • Eight-digit UK account number
  • Six-digit sort code
Check every digit carefully before continuing. Spaces or hyphens in the sort code are fine.

AFTER WE RELEASE IT

Payment methods move at different speeds.

These are practical estimates, not guarantees. Working days exclude weekends and UK bank holidays.

Bank Transfer

Usually two working days after a same-day Bacs submission.

  1. Instruction received

We submit the accepted payment into the Bacs cycle.

  2. Bank processing

The instruction moves between the sending and receiving banks.

  3. Funds credited

The money is credited on the entry day of the three-working-day cycle.

PayPal

Usually appears quickly once sent to an active, matching account.

  1. Payment sent

We use the PayPal email saved with your order.

  2. Account matched

PayPal looks for the account connected to that exact email.

  3. Balance updated

A matching account normally shows the payment soon after it is sent.

Cheque

Allow around seven to ten working days for print, post and clearing.

  1. Cheque prepared

The accepted amount is printed to the exact payee name you supplied.

  2. Standard post

The cheque travels to the postal address held on your order.

  3. Bank clearing

Pay it into your account and allow your bank time to clear it.

CHECK BEFORE CHECKOUT

Your details tell the payment where to go.

A name, digit or email that looks almost right can still point to the wrong destination. Check the method-specific detail before placing the order.

Bank Transfer: check the account number and six-digit sort codePayPal: use the email connected to the account you want paidCheque: enter the payee name exactly as it should be printed

We only ask for the information needed by the payment method you select.

PayPal shows pending or unclaimed

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

Know what happens before you choose.

Clear answers about release timing, working days, payment details and what to do when something needs attention.

Still unsure? Contact us
When does payment begin?

Payment begins after your device has arrived, been inspected and the quote has been confirmed. If we explain a genuine difference, payment begins after you accept the revised offer.

Why is Bank Transfer recommended?

It sends the money directly to a UK bank account and gives most customers a clear, traceable route. The account number and sort code must be checked carefully because they determine where the payment is sent.

Can I get fast payment for my phone?

We pay after inspection and acceptance, so we never promise instant cash or same-day payment. PayPal is usually fastest once sent. Bank Transfer follows Bacs; Cheque takes longer.

Do weekends and UK bank holidays count as working days?

No. Bacs processing, our payment team and postal estimates use working days. A payment released near a weekend or UK bank holiday may therefore take longer in calendar days.

What should I do if I entered the wrong payment details?

Contact us as soon as you notice. If payment has not been released, we can review the order before it is sent. Once a payment has completed or a cheque has been posted, recovery or replacement depends on the circumstances and cannot be guaranteed.

How will I know that payment has been sent?

We update the order when payment is processed. Use Track My Order with your order number and checkout email, and keep an eye on that inbox for any message that needs your attention.
