CURRENT ORDER UPDATE

Find the order connected to your device.

Enter the order number from your confirmation email and the address you used at checkout.

Your confirmation email has your order number

It was sent to the address you gave at checkout when the order was placed. The order number is the reference we use for everything about your order, so keep it to hand.

Ask us and we will tell you where it is

Send us your order number and we will come back with its current stage and what happens next. If you have not had a confirmation email, tell us the address you used at checkout and we will find it.

THE WHOLE JOURNEY

Five clear stages, one honest timeline.

Each update shows the next recorded stage. Timing depends on the chosen carrier route, inspection result, order outcome and any time waiting for a customer decision.

  1. Order placed

Your reference and chosen postage route are ready.

  2. On the way

The parcel travels through the carrier network.

  3. With our team

We book it in, match the order and inspect each device.

  4. Decision

We confirm the order or explain anything that needs your attention.

  5. Completion

The payment, recycling or agreed return outcome is recorded.

THE QUIET PARTS EXPLAINED

Quiet does not mean lost.

Some completely normal parts of the journey happen between visible updates. Knowing the difference makes the tracker much easier to read.

Between carrier scans

Tracking may stay still while the parcel moves between scan points.

Delivered, then booked in

The carrier scan happens before our team opens and matches the parcel to your order.

Working days matter

Inspection and payment guidance does not include weekends or UK bank holidays.

AFTER INSPECTION

One clear decision, whichever path opens.

Inspection does not leave you guessing. The tracker shows whether the order is moving to payment, recycling or waiting for your decision.

IF EVERYTHING MATCHES

The order moves to payment.

We accept the device and prepare payment using the method chosen at checkout.

Bank Transfer follows the three-working-day Bacs cycle after it is submitted.

IF FREE RECYCLING APPLIES

The recycling outcome is recorded.

We confirm the accepted £0.00 recycling route without requesting payment details.

The order reaches completion after the recycling outcome is recorded.

IF SOMETHING DIFFERS

You receive the reason first.

We email what inspection found and any revised offer before the order moves forward.

You can accept the revised amount or decline and request the device back.

ORDER TRACKING QUESTIONS

The updates customers ask about most.

Clear answers about carrier scans, booking-in, working days, decisions and payment.

Ask about an existing order
Where can I find my order number?

Your order number is shown in the confirmation sent after checkout. Search the inbox and junk folder for the email address used when the order was placed. If you still cannot find it, contact us with your name and checkout email.

Why has my Royal Mail tracking not changed?

Tracking can be quiet between Royal Mail scan points while a parcel moves through the network. Royal Mail Tracked Returns aims for delivery within two to three working days. Keep your proof of handover and contact us if the parcel moves beyond the expected journey without an update.

Why does Royal Mail say delivered while my order is awaiting booking-in?

The Royal Mail delivery scan and our warehouse booking-in step are separate events. Our team opens the parcel, matches it to the order reference and records it against the order before the We Buy Back status changes to Received.

Do weekends and bank holidays count as working days?

No. We Buy Back inspection and payment guidance uses working days. A parcel received late on Friday may not begin inspection until Monday, or the next working day after a UK bank holiday.

What does Your attention is needed mean?

It means inspection found something that needs your decision, such as a genuine condition difference, a functional issue or an account lock. We email a clear explanation and any revised offer. You can accept it or decline and request the device back.

When should I expect my payment?

After an order is accepted, Bank Transfer follows the three-working-day Bacs cycle. PayPal usually appears quickly once sent to an active matching account. Cheques need additional printing, postal and clearing time. The tracker will show when payment has been issued.
